About us
Prompt Finance was launched in South Africa, Mpumalanga Province in April 2023. We are based in Matsulu Township and we provide credit to ONLY public servants/ only government employees (teachers, policemen, health workers, public works etc) via the internet and in our offices. We offer loans between R250 to R2000 from 7 days up to 30 days. Prompt Finance is a registered Credit Provider, regulated by the National Credit Act 34 of 2005. We are also a member of the MicroFinance Association of South Africa.

Our mission
Prompt seeks to assist clients with their immediate financial needs, conveniently, anytime and anywhere.

Our operating principles

1) With Prompt Finance you get what you want
– We will never force you to borrow more than what you need and afford.
– Our advanced technology allows you to control how much you want to
borrow, when would you like to pay and how.
– The system will never allow you to borrow more than R2000.
– There is no misleading information, what you see is exactly what you get.
2) Transparent
– Prompt is very transparent, we always show you what you borrowed, interests to be paid, initiation and monthly service fees.
– We show you the total that you need to pay back and there are no hidden costs.
– We do not assist clients who are under debt review and those who do not afford as per the affordability check.
– All clients will be subjected to credit and affordability assessment before they can be assisted.

3) Communication
– We make it easy to contact us during office hours: via the website, email or phone.
– If you have a complaint or concern you will receive a response.
– If you are not satisfied with our response you can appeal the decision by writing to us again, stating your objections and providing any new information to be considered.
– We will respond to your complaint and endeavour to resolve it within 48 working hours. If your complaint is particularly complex it may take longer to investigate but, in these cases, we will explain why there is a delay and tell you when we will contact you again.
– If you are not satisfied with our response you can appeal the decision by writing to us again, stating your objections and providing any new
information to be considered.
– We are registered with the National Credit Regulator, so you can register a complaint with them if you have already contacted us and feel we have not responded to your concerns or resolved the matter fairly: You can call the regulator on 0860 627 627, or send an email to complaints@ncr.org.za or if your complaint is related to debt counselling you can email dccomplaints@ncr.org.za
